The short version

The only thing this website collects is what you type into the early-access form: your name, your email, and whether you are an individual, a business or a rider.
We use it to email you about launch, to invite you to research, and to consider businesses for the Abuja pilot. Nothing else.
We never sell it. You can leave the list, or ask us to delete you, at any time.

01Who we are

QuickFleet Logistics Limited is a Nigerian delivery company in development, preparing to launch in Abuja. In this policy, “QuickFleet”, “we” and “us” mean QuickFleet Logistics Limited, which is the data controller for the personal information described here.

02What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. QuickFleet is not yet operating, so there is no delivery service, no account, no rider application and no payment being processed here. The only personal information we hold from this site is what you give us when you join the early-access list.

When the service launches, a fuller privacy notice will cover deliveries, tracking, proof of delivery and payments. We will publish it before anything can be booked.

03What we collect

Information you give us. When you join the early-access list we ask for your name, your email address, and whether you are joining as an individual, a business or a rider. If you are a business you may also tell us you want to be considered for the Abuja pilot. If you email us, we hold that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site available and secure, and to understand traffic in aggregate. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

04Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To send you launch updates and invitations to take part in research, on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the update box and can withdraw at any time.
To assess pilot candidates, where a business has asked to be considered, on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in preparing to launch.
To contact riders when recruitment opens, where you joined as a rider, on the basis of your consent.
To keep the site secure and working, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating it safely.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. Ever.

05Cookies

This pre-launch site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or any other cookie before launch, we will say so here and ask for your choice where the law requires it.

06Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and send email, and only so they can perform that job for us under contract. We may also disclose information where we are required to by Nigerian law or by a competent authority.

Some providers may store data outside Nigeria. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer meets the requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

07How long we keep it

We keep early-access details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and for a short period afterwards in order to honour that request. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at any time and we will remove you.

08Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw your consent, to object to certain uses, and to ask us to restrict how we use it.

Write to admin@quickfleet.co and we will respond within the timeframe the Act requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

09Keeping information safe

We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, use reputable providers, and keep what we hold to the minimum the pre-launch stage actually needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you and the law requires notification.

10Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11Changes to this policy

As QuickFleet moves from preparation to launch, this policy will change. When it does we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell the early-access list directly if the change is significant.
